These terms apply to bookings made directly through this website. Bookings made on Airbnb are governed by Airbnb’s own terms. This English translation is provided for convenience: in the event of any discrepancy, the French version (« Conditions de séjour ») prevails.
Booking process
- You send a request via the booking form. This request is not a confirmed booking.
- We check availability and reply to you in writing.
- The booking becomes final only after our written confirmation and agreement on the details of the stay.
Capacity and occupancy
- Maximum capacity: 6 guests, adults and children included.
- The house is let as a whole; it may only be occupied by the people declared at the time of booking.
House rules
- No smoking indoors.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Parties, events, noise nuisance and unplanned gatherings are not allowed.
- Quiet is requested after 10 pm; please avoid loud music.
- Outside visitors are tolerated within reason.
- Use of the fireplace is not permitted (decorative fireplace).
- Access to the basement is not permitted.
- Electric vehicle charging: only after prior arrangement with the property manager.
Pool
The pool is private and reserved for guests. Swimming is at the responsibility of the adults present; children must be supervised by their parents at all times. The pool has a pool safety cover: it must be closed whenever the pool is not in use and when you leave the house. A pool technician calls regularly during your stay for maintenance.
Check-in and check-out
- Check-in: from 3 pm
- Check-out: by 10 am
- Key handover: welcome by our local property manager (available 7 days a week), or a secure key safe for late arrivals.
- End-of-stay cleaning is included; please leave the house tidy.
Financial terms
- A booking deposit of 30% of the price of the stay is required to confirm the booking; the balance is due no later than 30 days before arrival.
- A €1,500 security deposit is requested before check-in. It is not cashed and is returned no later than 14 days after departure, less any damage found.
- Tourist tax is added to the price of the stay: €2.75 per night per adult (the current municipal rate, subject to change; minors are exempt).
- Online payment is not offered on this website; payment arrangements are confirmed to you in writing.
Cancellation
- Cancellation more than 60 days before arrival: the booking deposit is refunded in full.
- Cancellation between 60 and 30 days before arrival: the booking deposit is retained.
- Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival: the full price of the stay remains due.
- Goodwill gesture: if we manage to re-let the cancelled dates, the sums retained may be refunded in proportion to the nights re-let.
- We recommend taking out cancellation insurance with the insurer of your choice.
Liability
Guests must hold civil liability insurance covering holiday rental risks.
