This page summarises the main house rules for a stay at Villa Christal. Financial terms (price, booking deposit, balance, security deposit, tourist tax, cancellation) are set out in the General Terms and Conditions; the signed agreement prevails. Bookings made on Airbnb are governed by Airbnb’s terms. The French version prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
Booking direct
- You send a request from the booking page: it does not reserve any dates.
- We check availability and, if the dates are free, send you a written offer with the agreement to sign, valid for 24 hours.
- The booking is confirmed once the agreement has been signed electronically and the requested payment has been received.
Occupancy
- Maximum occupancy: 6 guests, adults and children included.
- The property is let in its entirety and occupied only by the declared guests.
- No more than two visitors at the same time, during the day and without staying overnight.
House rules
- Non-smoking property: no smoking or vaping inside.
- Animals: only with the owner’s prior written consent (guide and assistance dogs excepted).
- Parties, receptions, events and gatherings: not permitted.
- Quiet between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am, particularly in the garden, on the terrace and around the pool.
- The fireplace is decorative and must not be used.
- The basement is excluded from the rental and access is prohibited.
- Electric vehicles: the villa has no charging point; an ordinary domestic socket may be used only on request and with the local property manager’s prior approval.
Swimming pool
The pool is private and reserved for occupants and authorised visitors. Children and non-swimmers must be constantly supervised by an adult. The safety cover must be closed whenever the pool is not in use and whenever you leave the house; it never replaces supervision. A pool technician visits during the stay for maintenance. Pool heating, when available, must be requested at least 72 hours before arrival; no water temperature is guaranteed.
Arrival and departure
- Arrival: from 3:00 pm.
- Departure: property vacated by 10:00 am.
- Welcome by NLC Conciergerie Sarlat, our local property manager, or, for an agreed late arrival, through a secure key box.
- End-of-stay cleaning is included in the price; please leave the house tidy.
Insurance
Please check that your personal liability insurance covers holiday rentals (“garantie villégiature”). Cancellation insurance is recommended.
