By car
Sat-nav brings you close to the house — a precise route is provided with your confirmation. Parking is a real comfort here:
- Private parking for two cars at the entrance to the property
- A second, enclosed private car park below, for 4 to 5 more vehicles
- Driving an electric car? Charging at the villa is possible after prior arrangement with our local property manager, and there are public charging points in Sarlat and at the main tourist sites
By train
Sarlat-la-Canéda station is served by regional TER trains, with connections in Bordeaux in particular — check times on the SNCF website.
By air
The nearest airports (check seasonal routes):
- Brive–Vallée de la Dordogne
- Bergerac–Dordogne–Périgord
- Bordeaux–Mérignac (further away, with more routes)
A car is recommended to make the most of the region. Without one, taxis, local buses and seasonal shuttles are listed on the tourist office’s getting around the Périgord Noir page.
On arrival
- Check-in from 3 pm — check-out by 10 am
- You are welcomed on site by our local property manager (available 7 days a week), who shows you around the house
- Arriving late? No problem: a secure key safe is provided, and the code is sent to you before your arrival
